First Race

Ok, been a casual fan back to the Carmichael days but never been to a race until this year. Going to Indy next month & I need to know what I should do or look for attending my first race in person. I'll be there early enough for free practice and qualifying if they allow fans inside. Any advise for first time in person I would appreciate the input. Can't wait :)
