Indy & Qualifying

Hi y'all. Going to my first race this weekend (Super Stoked) & I have a question about the two sessions of Qualifying they have on the schedule. Which one sets up gate selection for Heat races? I think the gates open at Noon & I want to be there to soak it all in but wanted to get clarification on the two Q sessions. Thanks
