Card representing yourself/a person
I don’t have this quite figured out so bear with me: I’ve seen in tarot that Court Cards can represent a person in your life. I haven’t determined from what I read if you let the deck know “I’m assigning this card to this person” in one reading/period of time for several readings, or if over the course of several readings it becomes apparent a card stands for a specific person.
The reason I’m asking is that I think my oracle deck may have pulled differently depending on my relationship with a person in the past. I got this card in reverse several times when they were causing problems for me/during the aftermath and recently I’ve been in their vicinity again and I pulled it upright.
My deck has 31 cards and I’ve only ever received 24 of them, and I’ve been practicing on and off for three years. I looked at the frequency of each card in my readings out of curiosity and as of the last couple months, I’ve pulled a “new” one in reverse twice now while asking about a totally different situation than described above. I’m wondering if possibly this is a similar thing, and if I should communicate with my deck that I’m assigning this new card to a specific person. Or is that going against the whole idea?
I figure worst case scenario I’ll never pull it while asking about this person, right?
