Samsung S22 Ultra: unexplained blurry camera ring???
Browsing this community, I quickly realized I don't know any of the technical lingo you guys use here, I just wanted to ask abt something that changed since the recent software update that I can't change back & can't understand.
Since my phone last updated, every time I try to take a pic with either camera, the entire Pic is blurry and I see a faint but dark, blurry ring around the image thru the lens. I've checked every setting I can find, and reset the camera settings, but it won't go away.
When I got this phone it took INCREDIBLE pics so easily, but since this last update it's impossible for me to take a pic that doesn't look like it came from a 2009 plug-n-play desktop Webcam with finger grease smudged on the lens.
I removed my phone case, camera lens covers, and cleaned the lenses but it's something with the camera itself, not something on the lens.
Blur is off, filters are off, image stabilizer is off, optimizer is off. I don't know what Samsung did with the update, but I'm getting so sick of the way everything I know how to use keeps changing with no warning or information that an average person can keep up with. I'm not stupid, I've had smartphones literally since they came out and I can't understand what is wrong.
I just want to be able to take pics of my cats that don't look like utter shit, like some sped with a stolen toy cam is taking them yet that seems to be what my phone is dedicated to doing to me.
If there's anyone who can explain to me what they think it could even be, please do🙏🏻
I tried taking pics of just my wall to get an example of it, but it doesn't show up in the actual pic which is why I thought it was a smudge. The pics end up blurry and out of focus and dark, but the ring is only on the screen when I have the camera open.
