Hard drive no longer appearing in windows

One of my hard drives suddenly stopped appearing today, it appears in the bios but not device manager or disk partitioner. I’ve tried switching the sata cables and their positions but nothing changes. Any clue what might be happening or if it’s possible to get transfer the data to another hard drive?
