Please give advice (crush related)

So I really want to tell my crush I love him (again) my crush is an online friend I’ve known for so long we had a situation ship awhile back loved each other but i ended it last august because I knew I had to too be better in school and stuff but I still regret it and I still love him I love him even more now and the thought of him probably not loving me back anymore is a possibility and I’m scared but I want to do it so badly please give advice
