can someone please help me switch phone brand

forgive me if this is the wrong sub but i have been using apple since my first phone but im starting to hate apple and i want to switch to another company. i kinda want to get a huawei bc of the price but idk if i should just go safe and get a samsung or something. also idek if huawei even works in the UK. what do yall think?
