S2 is unbelievable & clichéd

So disappointing, how S2 went. Especially the ending, it is beyond stupid, is how I would describe it in short.

Such a pity because I really enjoyed S1, even with all its less than believable moments. It felt like the writers wanted to top the previous season but fell short of pulling it off, for whatever reasons. The number of "wtf moments" where we had to suspend disbelief was just too much, taking us out of the show and just goin, "Wait, is that something that really goes on in the CIA or...??" What a shame they couldn't rein it in just a tad because some moments in S2 were great. The humour and sharp writing, are still there.

Also annoying that Owen is more cocky and overconfident this season, it's like he knows he's the main character and can't die. Just breaks the immersion and the supposed storyline of rookie lawyer surviving inane, dangerous situations with a combination of genius thinking and luck.

There's also the sex appeal thing which is so cliched, like sleeping with the girl on the night before you're supposed to stom an impenetrable fortress crawling with real-life mafia assassins and possibly LOSE YOUR LIFE...?? Like yeah I get that he's hot but this is unrealistic, not to mention cliched. Maybe I'm not the audience they were pandering to.

Anyways, this has gotten longer than I intended it to be. Honestly if S3 is gonna be on the same crap level of writing, please stop because I feel extremely disrespected as an audience. No one deserves slop.

EDIT: I know it is not supposed to be realistic, like I said I enjoy the show BUT there is a line for how much one can suspend disbelief and for me S2 crossed the line, especially with the ending.
