Eugene Portacova's "Taste".
Maybe someone here with a background in this area can help me understand just what it means when Eugene gives Tony his taste of the two million dollars his aunt left him in her will. Just how much would that have been? I mean, I get that, as a soldier in the Soprano crew, a set percentage of what he makes off his rackets and territory gets kicked up. But this was from within his own family, outside his other "family", and not related to "this thing of ours" in any way. So was this a standard sort of kick up, the way Tony seemed to be treating it, or was this a bribe from Eugene, to get Tony to let him out? And again, how much do you suppose was in that envelope?
