When did you potty train?

My daughter is 17.5 months and has been hiding to poop, and has been letting us know whenever she’s pooped for about a month now. She’s is now letting us know when she’s gone pee as well.

I’d say she can go longer periods with a dry diaper, but would definitely still need one overnight. I have been thinking of starting potty training next month, after she’s turned 18 months. I’m a ftm, and never potty trained or even have an idea of how to do it, but is 18 months too young?
