Should Bretonnia get access to foot knights.
Due to recent posts about bretonnia I was shocked to find foot knights is such a controversial issue. So I wanted a sample to see. My opinion is below.
Opinion piece: Personally I think foot knights are perfectly fine to be added. They were used in the lore. (No, bretonnia didn't use calvary for everything) And to say "bretonnia should have weaknesses" Well... 1. No other faction has this kind of restraint. High elves have decent infantry, cav, and missiles. Empire has good artillery, missiles, and calvary. Etc. bretonnia only has its cavalry. Everything else it's just terrible, with the possible exception of it's trebuchet. Surely having a decent line holder is not asking too much 2. Having knights errant or knights of the realm on foot is not a massive game changer. This isn't like chosen. They are just standard infantry. And they will likely have a smaller unit count anyways. So it won't even be the best mid tier infantry. Because they will likely be a premium for what you get.
