What was your favorite destination going to a second time around?

Basically, you did all of the tourist stuff the first time. You have completely different goals this time to find the "off the beaten path" and more local stuff. What was your favorite city (or town I guess) going more in depth on the second time around? For me so far, London is probably my number one. Pretty nice not worrying about going sight seeing and just going to pubs, shows, and watching some football/soccer games.
