30hrs in Shanghai

Hello! I've got 30hrs in Shanghai, next week. I'm sleeping at the airport. Looking for the most epic or small local gems.

I want to eat some crazy.. (good?) stuff. And even though I've only got 1 day, I want to make the most of it and get a tiny sense of what it means to be a Chinese living in Shanghai. Get some culture, find some local interesting hobbies, parks. Find some old school alleyways and see people go by their day to day lives. See some interesting (old) architecture, visit a local market that represents the spirit of the people.
