RSO and Colon/Liver Cancer

I found out that my brother in law has stage 4 colon cancer, which has metalized to his liver. I've heard that RSO has shown promise for treatment of cancer, and I'm curious if anyone can tell me more about this.

I'd like to talk to my sister and him about it, but want to make sure I know what I'm talking about.
