No ID to fly with

Hi, I made a horrible mistake today. I recently moved so I went to update my drivers license from Louisiana to Texas. In Louisiana they give you a physical card the same visit, but apparently Texas gives you a temporary paper permit and then they mail you a license within 60 days. I had no idea they do this and I fly out Tuesday morning from Houston to Orlando my a family vacation. I begged the woman to give me my Louisiana ID back, and she did but she cut it. I called my airline and she said tsa probably wasn’t going to accept that but that I could try.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is there anything else I can bring with me to get on that flight? I don’t have a passport or TWIC. I can bring my birth certificate, ss card, marriage certificate, whatever but I’m freaking out.
