Turtle somehow got into my fenced yard. Should I leave him to somehow get out?

Little buddy somehow made it into my fenced in back yard. He’s on his great march to the back of the yard. I’m worried he’s going to get stuck out here. Should I move him in the direction he’s trying to go? Or wait for him to find his way back out?
