Box turtle

I have what I believe is a three toed box turtle. He’s pretty small. I found him on the road in southwest Missouri with a cracked shell. I’m in contact with a woman I found online from Arkansas who helps turtles and she’s given me some basic advice.

Right now it’s wait and see if he lives. If he does, he may be paralyzed.

I’ve never even thought about having a box turtle and have no idea what to do if he lives but needs to stay with me because he’s paralyzed so a care sheet of some kind would be helpful but I don’t know what sources to trust
