Ubers immortal explotative and price gouging strategy exposed

I had a terrible time today, where I went online and every request I got was 8-10 minutes away, this is in the heart of the city in the busiest area. I declined 5 rides and cancelled one because when I accepted it, I didn't realize it was a low rated low quality customer. Eventually I felt bad ruining my acceptance rating and accepted an 8 minute away ride, because when you are on a ride, Uber will know where you will end up, and they can try to match you with a closer customer. This is why Uber is great when it's really busy, every drop off should have a new customer near.

Anyway I dropped off the customer, it was A 5 dollar ride which took 10 minutes to get to, and 10 minutes to drop off. Then only after I dropped the customer off, Uber finally started to match make again, and next customer was 8 minutes away again. I declined it out of frustration and just went home.

$15 an hour while booked, not counting gas or milage depreciation is a disgusting, psychopathic, immortal level of compensation.

You have to clean your car, have good hygiene, be sociable, provide a good atmosphere, complete requests, and shoulder the car accident risk of driving your car in other people's name. There's way more higher paying jobs that ask way less of people for for a lot more income. It's unthinkable that they pull this bullshit on you.

It seems like the strategy is to send all drivers on 10 minute goose chases to customers that are 10 minutes away, wasting their time, labor, fuel, and car, just because if Uber ties up all the drivers picking up the furtherst free pick up customer, that creates an outage of drivers, which allows them to surge the prices, and nowadays the customers just see the increased prices, they don't even know they are charged extra. So all the customers pay extra pay, Uber ear extra pay, all while drivers, drive around like idiots, racking up milage and burning gas, to become unavailable, all do that Uber can jack up the prices because all the drivers are gone because they are busy picking people up 10 minutes away for free.

Incompetence creating free capital. Disgusting.
