Career move opinions

Hi, looking for a bit of advice. I currently run an automotive parts department at 38k a year salary. I’m 33 and completed level 2 and 3 city and guilds electrical installation back in 2010. I feel like I’m capped with no real progression from where I am to keep me interested.

I’ve been offered an apprenticeship electrician opportunity for a uk wide company that only wire new housing developments.

Now the money is not good for a fair while which i kind of to be expected with being an apprentice. Second year I’d be paid National minimum wage not great still but heading in the right direction. I have some savings which I think will see me through the first year.

Do you think it’s a good career move? Will I easily get back to what I earn whilst still working for a company?
