Unpopular Opinion: Starmer’s Labour REALLY isn’t as bad as it’s being made out to be.

Honestly, if the MSM were inclined to report on this Labour government in a way that is anywhere near the way that they have reported the previous Tory governments, this government wouldn’t be anywhere near as unpopular as it currently is.

Don’t get me wrong, this government is FAR from perfect (Gaza, trans rights, pensioners’ heating bills etc.) and I’m not convinced that Starmer quite has the character of a strong leader. However, for example, NOT ONCE have I seen MSM allude to the idea (let alone explain) that the UK will be economically SO much better off long-term from the actions that Labour have been taking when all they talk about is what is the short-term pain we’re currently facing from said actions.

For years the Tories have been fooling their voters with unsustainable short-term economic growth. These short-term economic “successes” from the Tories have been exactly what the billionaire-owned/Tory-owned MSM outlets want to cherrypick.

This Labour government is really trying their best to set us all up right now but they’re being totally unjustly dismissed and vilified. Yes, it is short-term pain BUT if we stick it out now, the payoff will be huge.
