found this bud in a baggie in my uni accom hallway. can i smoke it or will i die

i smoke a couple times a week but i don’t know anything about weed. can anyone tell me anything about this? i literally just found it in a baggie on the floor in my uni accom hallway. there was probably about a joints worth in there. again, i don’t know anything about weed, but it smells nice. safe to smoke?
