Electric vehicles wouldn’t receive as much hate if they looked like normal cars

Prime example of terrible aesthetic choices: The 2025 Dodge Charger

I don’t get the obsession with making EVs look all quirky and futuristic. If the goal is to get more people to like them, wouldn’t it make sense to design them like normal cars?
