Genuine Thoughts about UNT
(I’m looking for relatively thoughtful and intentional replies)
Q: How does the rest of the student body feel about UNT?
I’m a proud UNT student and I would say I bleed mean green. I don’t scream it from the rooftops and I’m not the type to be peppy and school spirited but I really love it here. I moved across the United States to be here after doing extensive research into my field of study when I was in middle school and decided that UNT is the best institution for what I wanted to study and the best fit for me. Being admitted into the university wasn’t hard and I know the standards aren’t that high but I worked really hard to excel in my field of study so that after jumping the small hurdle of admissions I could tackle the mountain of competitiveness from my degree. UNT is my dream school and it lives up to every one of my expectations. I really could not imagine myself at any other college across the US but this school is geared toward Texans. I kinda want to hear why you don’t like it so much or what makes it just an okay school to you. I think it’s funny (ironic) that so many students sport college merch from OTHER colleges on campus. A kid in my class religiously wears a UT sweatshirt and I just don’t get it. Why not make the most of where you are even if you aren’t as passionate as i am about the school?
