FJO TS w/SCI: Timeline & Redflags

This post is to help give people some hope about USAJOBs applications, the process, into an offer. Role is a GS15, supervisor positiob. First some context:

1) Previous employer stated reduction in workforce was beginning in January of 2024. 2) Began applying to jobs, including USAJOBs 3) Total of.73 applications submitted by the time TJO was sent in August of 2024. 23 referrals, one interview which included panels and interview with technical dirposition. 4) I have a masters with 12 years of work experience.

Timeline below: -Laidoff May 2024 -Applied June 6th 2024 -Phone Screening: 6/27/24 -Panel interview: 7/15/24 -Final interview: 7/22/24 -TJO: 8/15/24 -Fingerprints, Drug Test, and Sf-86 Completed: week of 8/15/24 FJO with interim clearance granted: 9/3/24

Redflags: -Unemployed 4 months due to layoff -Recreational marijuana use over last 12 years, last use December 2023.
