How the hell are you guys making friends

My first year was in 2021, so i ended up not getting into dorms off the lottery (boo covid). The classes for my major are also pretty big, even in third year most have 200ish, so it can be a bit more challenging to get to know classmates. I’ve found it impossible to make any friends here, and it’s so discouraging because it seems like everyone in my year made their friends while living in dorms, and already have these established friend groups by now. I can’t help but feel like i missed my chance by not getting into dorms:/
