Help: Mistreatment by Property Management, Want to end Tenancy Early! :(

I am a current tenant of Turnkey Property Management. My roommates and I have been mistreated severely during our tenancy by property management. After research online and reading reviews, we realize we aren’t alone. Especially after coming across this post:

We want to end our tenancy ASAP, using the “Ending a tenancy early: Your landlord did not use the standard lease form” explained at the bottom from the Landlord & Tenant Board website: http://www.sjto.gov.on.ca/documents/ltb/Brochures/How%20a%20Tenant%20Can%20End%20Their%20Tenancy%20(EN).html

Has anyone gone through this process? Our lease is set to end August 2019.

We’re scared of repercussions: -We Paid “Last Months Rent” when signing the lease and fear it not being refunded -Our key deposit $200 won’t be returned -A clause in our initial lease stated if rent is not paid on the 1st day of the month, an additional $50 will be charged/withdrawn. Several times we have been late (by 1 or 2 days max), but nothing has been mentioned to this point and we're afraid there may be a cummulative $50 x (# of times late) requested. Majority of us etransfer our rent.

Any advice/guidance/tips would be appreciated!!!
