RIP - Phil Lesh, bassist for the Grateful Dead

Phil Lesh passed away today at 84 years old.

Phil Lesh was a founding member of the Grateful Dead didn't know how to play bass when he first met Gerry Garcia, but as a trained musician he quickly became an integral part of the newly formed band. Phil was a kind and well loved man who over his 6 decade long career played with hundreds of musicians, and his other well known band was simply known as Phil and Friends. Thank you, for all that great music, and for being that glowing with happiness musician we loved to see, and hear.
