First Pair Tracker Leather AT

So after wearing Altra lone peaks for all my walking/hiking for the last few months and it getting rid of some back pain i was experiencing, i decided to order a pair of Vivos as a winter shoe to stick with the zero drop/barefoot style.

These photos were taken when i first received the boots and they felt like they fitted well, i ordered the same size as my current shoes/boots. Now after wearing them for the last 5 days and probably walking around 70km in them, ive found that im having to tighten them so much to get a nice tight fit around my ankle that the tongue is uncomfortably digging into the top of my foot. Now i do know that i have skinny ankles and feet for size 11 as ive struggle in the past with boots needing to be tightened fully.

Has anyone else experienced this and can suggest a hiking/british winter boot that might be better for me?
