Bride : embarrassed to wear wedding flats

Self explanatory. I wear heels regularly and don’t mind being taller than my fiancé on occasion - but the thought of towering over him as we exchange vows makes me incredibly uncomfortable.

I know wedding flats are common but I HATE them - they honestly look embarrassing to me, especially in photos. I know I can hide them under my dress, but I’m worried someone will ask to see my shoes.

I’ve searched obsessively and have yet to see anything that looks remotely wearable to me.

Anyway, did any other brides just have to accept that flats were the way to go?

Fiancé and I are exactly the same height.
