Is there ever a reason to lease?

I (25M) have been fed the “never lease” sentiment all my life and as I look to get my first car, I am questioning whether if it makes more sense to buy or lease a car.

I have moved around cities/countries all my life every 3-5 years due to family job/education/career. I finally have a well-paid job and expect to stay for at least 2-3 years until I might have to move again for whatever reason (visa, career, or family).

My friends easily got by buying used cars and selling them once they leave. However, I am a little prideful and want to spoil myself on my first car.

Would it ever make sense that I lease a nice new premium car for 3 years?
