Glinda did the right thing by staying in Oz and playing the system from the inside

I know some people sometimes get a upset that Glinda didn't get on the broom with Elphie, but she made the right choice and here's why:

Elphie chose to become the powerful enemy of the Wizard and Morrible; she made the right choice because she can, she has the most powerful book and she had harnessed its power since her own powers are directly intertwined with the Grimmerie.

However, Glinda, what was her power? Nothing, all she had was popularity and privilege; she knew she could get herself out of trouble due to her affluent status... ofc Morrible had to embrace her at that point since her star student is now her enemy. Glinda staying "loyal" to the Wizard and Morrible helped her tremendously is bringing them down in part 2. She knew the Wizard was full of shit and knew Morrible was the one controlling the Wizard and all of the animal persecution.

By working on the inside, everyone loved her and was able to overthrow the Wizard by embarrasing him and literally exiling him and sending Morrible to prison. Ultimately, she did more than Elphie ever could... but ofc at the loss of Fiyero and Elphie... and even worse with Elphie because she genuinely thinks she's dead.
