Ranked Reset

I just realized the drop-off after season end is kind of drastic. Diamond goes down to platinum? Challenger to Emerald?

I understand keeping the rankings fresh, but this also feels like their way of forcing you to just grind a ton of games.

Basically I'm butthurt I struggled all season to get where I am and now I'm going back to the depths of hell.
