Thriving not just surviving?

For those of you who truly feel like you’re thriving at and outside of work, what are you doing and what is your secret?

I’m trying to piece together how my husband and I are going to navigate working full time with a four month old. I go to the office 4x weekly and my husband only has to go to the office 1x weekly. We both have 45ish minute commutes one way. I have lots of flexibility as to when I start work - it just has to be consecutive. For example, I can get to work at 6:30 and leave at 3, I just can’t work six hours and then finish my work after baby has gone to bed. Baby will be in daycare full time. I am pumping and have four sets of pump parts as our pediatrician has advised I don’t do the fridge hack. Baby is sleeping through the night at this point which has been a life saver, but baby also has a history of being colic-y due to milk and soy protein intolerances.

Right now, I’m back at work 3x weekly with two days remote and my husband is still on paternity leave. We feel like we’re operating at our max capacity. Our poor dogs are also not getting as many walks as we would like them to. Our house is a train-wreck and I feel like I’m spending my minuscule amounts of free time in the evenings washing pump parts. We do have family around who are more than willing to help, I’m just not sure how to best utilize them.

Any thoughts, success stories or advice would be appreciated!
