About to start WoW as a new Player, what Race should i choose for DK?

Greetings everyone.

I am basically a new Player and wanted to start with retail WoW.

I already know that Death Knight fits my Class Fantasy really well, but i am Torn between Worgen and Void Elfs (which i still need to unlock)

So, what would you recommend? Which does have the better Stats? Which has bettee aesthethics?
