How would this work? I imagined that they would be children of a British man, Mr. Bradock, who got involved with a Japanese woman. So, Jaime would be their half-brother, and Mrs. Bradock, would be the stepmother – a stepmother who isn't evil, without the cliché. I don't know if this would complicate things or if it would help, allowing them to connect with their British and Japanese origins without difficulty?
