Drawing of an unidentified bird I saw today briefly in Southeastern VA. It was flitting around tree branches near a lake. I know the picture looks a lot like a Brown Thrasher, but it was a lot smaller, my best guess is some kind of thrush, but I'm not sure.

Would like to know if this is chicken of the woods? Looks a whole lot like it but I’m no expert
A place to get genus/species identification from pictures of fruiting bodies! It helps to include good quality pictures of the mushroom in its native environment, the location you found them, photos of both the top and underside. It is also useful to know what the mushroom was growing on - wood, dung or on the ground? Nearby trees are also helpful to know. The more information you provide the more confident our IDs will be!
Seen in Southeastern VA yesterday, originally we said Pine Warbler, but now I'm leaning towards Cape May and wanted a second opinion.
