Belief is Dallas #TexasHockey and Mikko Rantanen’s camp are actively negotiating a new contract - with Carolina’s permission - and a trade is conditioned on an extension. If that price is met, which it hasn’t been yet, then Mikko Rantanen is expected to become a Dallas Star.
Sounds like the basis of the return for Mikko Rantanen when they get the deal done will be Logan Stankoven and two first-round picks.
