Peshkqbz dagger, 18th Century, Rajasthan, India. Made of Damascus steel and damascened in gold, studded with emerald, citrines and rubies. Due to space within the hilt, it is believed that these daggers were used for the storage of opium, and thus they have been termed 'opium daggers’. [1797×2400]
