“Kier, Chosen One, Kier”: From a musician’s perspective, this is an interesting tune. It’s hymn-like and singable, yes, but it’s also DECEPTIVE. The first three phrases are all in G major, generically happy. Then the final phrase leaps down awkwardly to D-sharp [0:24] and it ends in E minor, soured.
